Experience the best of both worlds with a short 10 min drive to Folly Beach and 12 mins to Downtown. Our full kitchen and bath provide convenience, while the large, shaded, fenced-in backyard is perfect for creating memories with family and friends. For added fun, we offer beach chairs, towels, and a Bluetooth stereo.

Space
This spacious, well designed apartment offers a full kitchen with all the essentials, comfortable tiled shower with bench seat, rain shower-head, and detachable shower-head, easy key-code access, Wifi, two flat screen smart TV's, shared laundry room, inside and outside seating areas, and ample space in the large shady backyard to play and entertain. For guest convenience we provide coffee, sugar, bath and beach towels, bed linens, paper towels, toilet paper, and soaps.
Access
In addition to the apartment guests have access the to the fenced-in 1/2 acre backyard, with ample parking for cars, boats, RVs etc. (backyard is shared with home owner and other guests that my be staying in the detached Cozy Island Cottage located in the rear of the property). Guests also have access and use of shared laundry room (detergent is provided) and outdoor kitchen (please notify the host if you would like to use the outdoor kitchen, so a quick tutorial can be provided) and the outdoor shower.
Interaction With Guests
Owner lives in the attached house at the front of property and can be available for any issues or questions you may have about the area, restaurant recommendations, or activities.
Neighborhood
Centrally located in a convenient James Island neighborhood, only a quick 5-mile drive or Uber ride to both Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. Beautiful James Island County Park is close by as well as restaurants, bars, shopping, banking, and convenience stores within a half-mile.

There are three rental units on the property that may be housing other guests during your stay. The units are all separate with designated outdoor areas and parking, but are on the same half acre property so please be courteous of others. House Rules
-Guest must follow all house rules outlined on the platform, in rental agreement and digital guidebook -Any refunds for cancelations will be less the credit card processing fees. - Quiet Hours are after 11pm. Failure to follow quiet hours may lead to immediate cancellation of booking without refund. - This is a self-check-in property; you certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions that are provided through Airbnb and/or the digital guidebook link prior to your check-in date. Failure to follow check-in instructions resulting in the inability to access the unit is not grounds for cancellation. - There is a $500 fee per day for smoking inside the unit. - There will be a $50 fee for any unauthorized late check out. - Damages/losses as a result of guest failing to follow the house rules as provided, requiring the subsequent guest(s) to be discounted or refunded will be the responsibility of the negligent party -If hanging any type of decorations, only use wall safe tape. - Please confirm the number of guests in the reservation. Any additional guest will incur an additional fee. - Guest understands that exterior surveillance and noise monitoring devices may be used on the property. -Any and all pets must be approved and applicable pet fee paid. Any unapproved pets on the property is a violation of house rules and will incur a penalty of up to $500 and charged to the card on file.

Place was as described. The bathroom is a bit smaller than it appeared in photos, but served its purpose well. Host was extremely good with communication and answered questions as we sent them. Was well equipped for our stay. Was close to Folly Beach and Charleston. Overall, great place to stay at a fair price.
